About

The Australian magazine People was a fortnightly men's publication launched in 1950 and was distinct from the American People magazine. It was published by Bauer Media Group and was headquartered in Sydney. The magazine ceased publication in 2019.

People was known for its focus on celebrity interviews, scandalous stories, glamour photography, and reader-submitted content such as sex stories. It also featured puzzles, crosswords, and a jokes page. The magazine was reportedly the first weekly in Australia to feature topless models.
