LVMH owned French Luxury Fashion house
Dior has opened an unprecedented and exceptional store on Madison Avenue in New York City.
Emblematically located at the corner of 57th Street and Madison Avenue, it is housed within a historic building, a few steps from the site where Christian Dior chose to establish his US subsidiary in 1948.
Designed by architect Peter Marino, the boutique is spread across four floors showcasing the different worlds of Dior, from women's and men's ready-to-wear to bags, shoes, and accessories, from jewelry to watches, and from perfumes to the art of beauty. An adjacent space dedicated to the Dior Maison collections also highlights the art de vivre so dear to Monsieur Dior.
Combining heritage and modernity to create an ultra-contemporary aesthetic, the interiors feature furniture by leading designers; precious woods, decorative paintings and Versailles parquet flooring echoing the iconic 30 Montaigne. The exteriors feature a stone facade enhanced by windows nearly seven meters high
Dior's unique flagship store marks a new chapter that continues its longstanding ties with New York City. Embodying French refinement and elegance in the heart of the bustling 'city that never sleeps', it is a captivating transatlantic odyssey.
